Yes thing are in a state of chaos on the planet at this time. That is a natural occurence when there is a change of cycles. There are things we need to do but there is no need for fear. The shift began in 1992 (many say it was the Harmonic Convergence of 1987.) The Mayans say that there is a 40 year period during which things fall apart and then rebuild into something new.  We are in that change period.

Mother earth has been abused, polluted and totally disregarded by modern man. The perception is that the earth is a dead thing that is here for us to subjugate and plunder.  That is not true.  The old cultures realized that the earth is very much alive and what we do to it, we do to ourselves. We could not exist without her help. Mother Earth is alive and rebelling at how we treat her. That is why we are having all the cleansing storms, the floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and more. We need to shift our perspective and start giving back to her instead of just taking from her.

The green movement is a part of that shifting perspective. My guides  tell me that we need to send love and gratitude to the planet, the earth, the wat ers, and air.  These are part of the ceremonies they used to hold to bring balance and harmony into being.  I’ll say more and give you suggestions on what to do in my next blog.  Thanks for reading and send me a message.

If you walk the Red Road, you know that every sorrow leads to a better understanding, every horror cannot be explained, but can offer growth.

To Walk the Red Road is to look for beauty in all things.

To Walk the Red Road is to know you will one day cross to the Spirit World, and you will not be afraid.

My comments on this final section of the poem.

Know that the purpose of life is to learn and grow in spiritual awareness. It is important to learn from our mistakes. This brings a good perspective on life and death. There is nothing to fear except what false information we have been given by religious organizations. Death is a transition, just like birth was. Meanwhile, smell the flowers along the way, even the thorny ones have something to offer us.

with all living things. It is to know that because you were born human,

it gives you superiority over nothing. It is to know that every creation

carries a Spirit, and the river knows more than you do,

the mountains know more than you do,

the stone people know more than you do,

the trees know more than you do, the wind is wiser than you are,

and animal people carry wisdom. You can learn from every one

of them, because they have something you don’t.

They are void of evil thoughts. They wish vengence on no one,

they seek justice.

My reaction to this third verse of the poem:

Humans tend to assume that we are superior to all other life forms.

We are not superior, just different. In many ways we are  less than

they are and we can learn from the animals, they elements and

All-That-Is. We need to honor thier wisdom.

The Red Road is a circle of people standing hand in hand,
people in this world, people between people in the Spirit world,
star people, animal people, stone people, river people, tree people.

The Sacred Hoop

My comments on the first paragraph  of this poem:
The Sacred Hoop is the circle of life that connects everyone  and everything.
It is not just for the indigenous people anymore but for all of us.
We are all interconnected to each other and All That Exists.

I regularly attend a past-life regression group held by my hypnotherapist and medium friend, Pamela Storrs, at www.AJourneyWithin.org. (I highly recommend these to anyone as the experiences can be very enlightenting.) In the past I have experienced lives on varied planets with some interesting stores to tell. Well, this last one took me to someplace I didn’t know I could ever go.

As we were being inducted, I didn’t seem to be going anyplace even though I did sense the changes around me. But I stayed with it and came to the shocking realization that I was no longer in a physical body. I was pure energy with intelligence, the ability to think and percieve but on a much larger scale than ever before. What was I? Where was I?

There was a planet below me and I instinctively knew that it wasn’t earth. Whatever it was, there was light, the energy of many lives on the surface and a sense of contentment coming from the planet. It felt good and I was very much connected into it all. It was seperate from me but somehow also a distant part of me. There are no words to describe the feeling. Spirit tells me that “we, everything on this planet and in the universe, are all related” and indigenous native cultures have always honored the Natural World around them. However the modern world we live in, does not accept that premise. A part of my mind kept asking,
“What am I? Where am I?”

Finally it began to dawn on me that I was the sky above the planet, I was the planets atmosphere.
“WOW!” “This can’t be, but it is.”
This has is still sinking in and is in the process of changing how I think and react to life and All That Is. I will be writing more about this experience.

I have been told that someone once experienced a past life as a tree. I though they were a couple of marles short of a set. But I keep finding that there is so much more to the world and the universe than we ever dreamed. Mankind is a tiny blip in all of exiteance.

Please let me know what you think about all of this. If you think I imagined it, or that I’ve out in the sun too long, I will understand, but i know what I experienced and Spirit always finds new ways to teach me things.

The Four Winds represent the white man and those who will help him in his wars. The forest of trees are the tribes of these wide plains. The one tree that the Four Winds left standing after the fearful battle represents our own people, the Absarokees, the one tribe that has never made war against the white man.”

Blackfeet Nation: During one of the last sun daces of the 19th century.
During a time of prayer, the sky darkened by an approaching storm. As the people looked in the direction of the sun which was completely overcast. there was an overwhelming stillness. The black clouds began to part in every direction, and a round white cloud appeared in the place of the sun. It too, was moving but it was coming towards them. As it got closer and closer, it got brighter and brighter, taking on the shape of a human being suspended in mid-air. It said “…do not be disturbed but be patient a little longer, for He would come again and lead them out of the darkness into the light and they would not suffer the same way again.” It also told them to purify themselves by praying and taking sweat baths so they would be ready when He came to live among them and guide them out of their troubles.

Wovoka a Paiute Ghost Dance prophet—at about the same timeline—was told that the spirit of God would come and help them if they were patient.
