Hollywood has made lots of money and so have doomsdayers. Yes, the world is shifting and mother earth is rebelling so we have cleansing storms in the form of tornados, earthquakes, floods, etc. but we will not flip the poles or burn up from solar flares. The Shift of Consciousness began back at the Harmonic Convergence in ’87 and is continuing. Do not fear as that feeds the negative energies. Instead, send love to mother earth and the universe. It is as it should be and will be ok. Watch this space for more information. My spirit guides have given me great insights. Trust and have faith.

This is a short outline of The Medicine Wheel’s demonstration of how everything in creation fits together. The gates represent the cardinal directions of the compass. The animals are representative of the lessons to be learned. I talk much more about all of this in my book, Ancient Spirit Wisdom, An Elder’s Guidebook to Native Spirituality and Beyond. The Medicine Wheel helps us put together concepts, from a higher perspective, that we may not see as related at first.
East- Eagle, Yellow race, Air element, Mind/mental aspects, Spring, Planting seeds (new beginnings)
South-Wolf, Red race, Earth element, physical Body aspect, Summer, Nurturing plants (growth of what has been started)
West-Bear, Black race, Water element, Emotions/feelings aspect, Fall, Harvest
North-Buffalo, White race, Fire element, Spirit aspect, Winter, Share stored harvest with others so all can survive

The Red Road is the Sacred Hoop. Walking it is walking in harmony and balance.
It is a circle of people standing hand in hand with All That Is in creation.
This poem by an unknown author explains it well.

To walk the Red Road is to know you stand on equal ground with
all living things. It is to know that because you were born human,
it gives you superiority over nothing. It is to know that every creation
carries a Spirit, and the river knows more than you do,
the mountains know more than you do,
the stone people know more than you do,
the trees know more than you do, the wind is wiser than you are,
and animal people carry wisdom. You can learn from every one of them,
because they have something you don’t. They are void of evil thoughts.
They wish vengeance on no one, they seek Justice.

To walk the Red Road is to know your Ancestors,
to call to them for assistance. It is to know that there is good
medicine and there is bad medicine. It is to know that Evil exists,
but is cowardly, as it is often in disguise.

To Walk the Red Road, you have less fear of being wrong,
because you know that life is a journey, a continuous circle,
a sacred hoop. Mistakes will be made, and mistakes can be corrected.
If you walk the Red Road,
you know that every sorrow leads to a better understanding,
every horror cannot be explained, but can offer growth.
To Walk the Red Road is to look for beauty in all things.

I don’t mean just dream about them, but actually feel them come to you and you know they are dead and on the other side. There is a difference.

For the first time in my life, I had it happen last night. My husband’s beloved little siamese visited me. Six months ago she died of renal failure at the age of 15 and broke my heart. (Isn’t it sad that most of our pets do not live nearly as long as we do and we experience the heartbreak of grief for each loss.) It was great to see her and she was excited to see me but I knew I could not touch her because she was on the other side of the veil. She was curled up on the bed and jumped up excitedly and came forward when she saw me walk into the room. However, the reason I knew I could not touch her was because there was a divider (sheet on the floor) between us that neither of us could cross. We could see and feel each other but that was all. These words do not adequately translate the feelings both Mooshie and I experienced in the dream. But I know it was her and she came to say “Hi, I’m doing good and miss you too.” This reafirms for me what I already knew, but it’s always great to get another afirmation.

When we acknowledge that death is not the end we realize that the deceased loved ones, human or animal, are still connected to us. It makes life sweeter. Share your experiences with me. Thanks

Lets look closer at the last parts of that definition.

If we go back to the very ancient times, before the advent of “main religions,” we find people primarily living an agricultural lifestyle. Survival for them depended on planting and harvesting crops. As a result, everyone was very aware and connected to nature, seasons, weather and the elements, as are farmers today. The ancients did not worship these things but considered them allies and something with which to live in balance and harmony. This relationship often became misinterpreted as “pantheistic,” (the belief that God is identifiable with the forces of nature and with natural substances) but ancient writings tell us otherwise. There is a difference between honoring and worshiping nature. For instance, I honor the 10 Commandments but I don’t worship them. I honor the flag but I don’t worship it. See what I mean?

My reading of ancient texts and my spirit guides tell that the ancients did not comprehend the word “sin.” The ultimate life goal was to live in harmony with the micro and macro-environment and other members of society, full of virtue and goodness. Wouldn’t it be good to have that goal for today? That sounds like the promised land after the ascention that the Christian Bible talks about and the Mayans predit for the 2012 Shift of Consciousnes.

Thank you for the feedback. It gives me an opportunity to clarify how certain words can often generate a reaction based on what our belief systems have taught us. No word by itself is either good or bad, our value system assigns the meaning, good and bad.

It appears to have been adapted from the tradition AA Serenity Prayer. This little piece of poetry shows us how the Natural World can help us if we connect to the All-That-Is. Anyway, I thought I would share it with you, so here it is:

PAGAN SERENITY PRAYER
. . . grant me:
The power of Fire, for the energy and courage to change the things I can.
The power of Water, to accept with ease and grace what I cannot change.
The power of Air, for the ability to know the difference.
And the power of Earth, for the strength to continue my path.

Prayer is speaking whatever is in your heart directly to God, and in that manner it is heard. Prayer is very strong. You can talk to the Creator just like you would to a dear friend rather than uttering rote words.
Through the centuries, the ability to connect to Spirit has been misused. some people have worshiped false idos or used other people to connect their prayers to the Creator. Prayer is meant to be direct, a personal connection. Receiving and answer to prayer is also a direct and personal experiencne. Do not go through intermediaries, whose purpose is to distance your from the Creator.
Prayer is necessary every day of your life. When you pray and ask for help, you are acknowledging the Spirit/Creator and the Universe. You are thanking the Creator every time you pray. Through your prayer you acknowledge that there is help within this world, that there is a higher power: the Creator. If you ask for help, open your own hands and be ready to receive the requested help.
Prayer is a form of meditation, and the individual consciousness will evolve to the higher vibration as a result. If prayer is not included in daily life, then the evolution of the soul to a higher consciousness will not continue. Pray daily. Make it a personal ritual to pray in the morning and the evening. Thank the sun, moon and stars for rising and then setting as they bring light to earth. Do this as you pray for the highest good of the earth, for all people and your family/friends. Prayer is much stronger than people realize. One prayer can send a strong vibration of energy thoughout the Universe. When you pray from your heart, the Sacred Circle becomes stronger and helps all humanity.

My dreams are ways that my guides often send me messages. Here is the dream.
The dream included five birds: the eagle, the crow, the raven, the owl and the hawk. They were flying side by side and equidistand as though in formation. They flew past me and landed on the ground, still is formation.
I asked the Star Council of Light for clarity on what the dream meant and here is what they said. The five birds represent the five energetic pathways. These pathways go in two directions, from the human world to the spirit dimension and back again. The dream came to you because you are working on the book, Ancient Spirit Wisdom, which will create a bridge between the physical world and the spirit dimension.
The Eagle represents a vision of peace and hope.
The Crow stands for spiritual law.
The Raven is the magical pathway of faith.
The Owl represents the transition from one world to another.
The Hawk represents observing the details and paying attention to what steps you need to take to correct your own actions and help others using the spiritual laws as a guide.
A summary of the dream’s meaning:
Humanity needs to hold a vision of hope and peace in the world. They need to learn the spirual laws, practice them, then teach the laws to others in our life, as part of our personal spiritual growth and life purpose. Have faith in the desired outcome. This will help the world and humanity to have a successful Shift of Consciousness to a higher level. We must pay attention to what is going on and take the necessary steps to correct our actions as we walk the spiritual path.”

On  the History channel on TV keeps showing the world being destroyed in horrible ways. Hollywood gives us more horror and fear ending where we are all destroyed in scary ways. But that is just Hollywood.  The Dec. 21, 2012 will be no different than the year 2000 fear promotion brought us. It is simply the ending of the cycle of the calendar. It ends every 5126 years. A new cycle and calendar will start.

Yes thing are in a state of chaos on the planet at this time. That is a natural occurence when there is a change of cycles. There are things we need to do but there is no need for fear. The shift began in 1992 (many say it was the Harmonic Convergence of 1987.) The Mayans say that there is a 40 year period during which things fall apart and then rebuild into something new.  We are in that change period.

Mother earth has been abused, polluted and totally disregarded by modern man. The perception is that the earth is a dead thing that is here for us to subjugate and plunder.  That is not true.  The old cultures realized that the earth is very much alive and what we do to it, we do to ourselves. We could not exist without her help. Mother Earth is alive and rebelling at how we treat her. That is why we are having all the cleansing storms, the floods, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and more. We need to shift our perspective and start giving back to her instead of just taking from her.

The green movement is a part of that shifting perspective. My guides  tell me that we need to send love and gratitude to the planet, the earth, the wat ers, and air.  These are part of the ceremonies they used to hold to bring balance and harmony into being.  I’ll say more and give you suggestions on what to do in my next blog.  Thanks for reading and send me a message.
